Change lives by changing the system.
Chicago Appleseed is a social impact research and advocacy organization that identifies community injustices, conducts research necessary to develop proposed solutions, and advocates for their implementation.
To get involved with Chicago Appleseed Center for Fair Courts, make a tax-deductible donation, join an advisory committee, or volunteer your time.
Through advisory committees that oversee our projects, Chicago Appleseed forges coalitions with stakeholders and other community organizations to reform unfair and inequitable court practices. Members of the advisory committees assist staff in conducting projects by identifying systemic issues, conducting qualitative and quantitative research, considering ways to use national and local evidence to develop proposed solutions, drafting legislation, and preparing policy, editorial, and advocacy statements.
