Does Chicago Appleseed provide legal representation?
Chicago Appleseed does not provide legal representation. However, we do provide listings, contact info, and descriptions of organizations that do provide legal services. The 2009 Legal Services Directory of Free and Low Cost Legal Services, produced by Chicago Appleseed and the Chicago Council of Lawyers, is a comprehensive listing of civil and criminal legal assistance agencies in the Chicagoland area that serve mainly low-income persons, persons with disabilities, and senior citizens.
Are donations to Chicago Appleseed Fund for Justice tax-deductible?
Absolutely! All donations to Chicago Appleseed are tax-deductible, and you will receive a receipt in the mail after making any donation. In addition to sending in a donation, you can make a safe and secure donation online through our partnership with Network For Good.
